Hello all!
Again sorry for the big break in updates. As usual Coffee Party work had kept me away, but I’m now back to making Back Office and Bata Neart pages.
I had promised a start up in June, and I had actually hoped to have the first pages up in June as well. Alas, delays and just life in general got in the way of that. I now have a enough material to bring the launch date for Chapter 8 to:
Monday July 8th
Chapter 9 will be a slightly longer with 25 pages and will continue the Flash Gordon theme of the last part. My goal is to run this chapter up until the end of the year.
In the meantime, please enjoy this preview image of the upcoming chapter.
It’s a beautiful image, but she is sad. I can’t really say I enjoy that. I want to give her a long hug and listen to why she is sad, ’cause I would greatly enjoy having helped her out. Also that is somehow an important step in any relation for me… I learn a lot about a person and feel far more comfortable labeling a relation “close” after such an event has transpired. I don’t want my friends to be sad, I don’t enjoy that, but I do want them to share their sadness with me when it happens – I enjoy the trust, the feeling safe, the openness, the vulnerability.

@O8h7w: Thank you for you kind words. I try to go for deep sometimes, even if this is a silly sci-fi comedy webcomic 🙂 Alas yes, Snow Flower is sad, and I would say pretty much heartbroken in this scene. Given who she’s with, you can probably guess why fairly quickly.
