…and I’m sure nothing will.
Because you know….Back Office is a comic where things always go well for everyone….every time….
We’ll find out more when come back after a one-week break. Please come back on:
Monday 18th May 2020
Looking forward to seeing you back!
July 18th is a week from now? Wasn’t time getting slower?
Of course everything will be ok, Mike is clearly a lucky guy.
Damn I screwed up the date! Good catch Vangeln! I have fixed it now 😀
Heeeeeeeeeeey…… Waitaminutehere……..
I was just browsing the archive and noticed something… Back in Date Night https://rawrtacular.com/bo/?comic=boc06p07 Emily was wearing a flower in her hair that looks an awful lot like… Nawwww, couldn’t be…. But it was Emily’s card that set this whole timeline in motion….
Ahhh! How did I not notice this before? And 08, you even referred to Emily as an “overly forward flower girl” at one point in the comments, didn’t you?
@Kessy: O8, you mean me? I don’t remember, my memory is very very bad right now. I kinda think that would have been “flower *shop* girl”, then again, but I like it when there is potential for double meanings like that so it’s entirely plausible I left “shop” out of that phrase just to make that connection whether or not it existed in-comic at the time.
Also, I apparently forgot this comic when I broke my phone in february, and remembered it just now upon rebuilding my phone bookmarks after accidentally deleting them. Sorry about that, that shouldn’t have happened, my brain is really unreliable this spring. Hopefully it will be back to normal before autumn.

@O8h7w: If you want to see an unreliable brain you should check out mine lately. So much stuff happening lately…it’s just chaos in there :O
@Rawr: I can only give you two pieces of advice: take a short walk if not every day at least most days, a little over ten minutes already helps a lot for the brain (in my experience) even if it does next to nothing for your body (you need at least 30 minutes for that, or so I hear). And make use of friends and family, talking to someone regularly helps a lot in finding your way through the chaos, when just writing it down (which I assume you’ve already tried) isn’t enough.
Then again, there will still be chaos. But these things regularly help me make it through the chaos when my brain just isn’t up to the task.
O8h7w: Your advice is good, because I tend to use walks as both exercise and therapy 🙂
The chaos I refer to is entirely self-inflicted by me moving house recently, taking on too many projects and having small kids during all of this. The kids part comes with chaos as a feature 😛
@Rawr: Kids indeed do have that feature. Except some kids, but such kids inevitably lead the parents to try again, and you never get two of those kids in a row! 😀
(obviously this is slightly jocular and almost every generalization has exceptions, but I have truly never seen or heard of an example of two non-chaos-bringers in a row)
