Welcome back after the break. Sorry it took so long!
Well now….did anyone see *this* coming? (I would be very shocked if anyone did 😀 )

Ok.
That makes the wait worth it xDDD
See this coming? Let me put it this way – my reaction is pretty much the same as Laura’s. 😉
Welcome back Rawr. We missed you and this comic. I hope the vacation was pleasant.
I agree with Kessy and Laura. This is so far out of left field, it’s several stadiums away.
Are those zombies? Robots? Androids? Cyborgs? Zombie cyborgs (or cyborg zombies)?
@Farren: Just so long as it’s not an undead Micheal Jackson….
@Kessy: Not to worry, no undead members of Pop Monarchy were used in the making of this comic 🙂
This just is actually system ‘Arnold DM’, who is heavily based on a friend of mine who is a huge Jackson fan. When it came to writing up this scene, the choice of who would become the zombie-thriller-droid Jackson-a-like, was simple to make 😀
I’m also very glad that this actually managed to throw you all off. You folk are usually very good at guessing what I will do with the comic and it’s very fun to do something completely out there. There is actually some method behind this madness, which I hope will become a little clearer next time 🙂
Nope, didn’t see that coming. 🙂
I did not expect Thriller, no. However I did expect that bear guy who I don’t remember the name of.
Warm welcome back anyways, Back Office 🙂
Oh, and “Thriller night” in the second-to-last panel lacks an ‘h’. Not to nitpick, just a heads-up, I seem to remember you have asked for them… but I might be remembering wrongly?
D’oh (again)!
Thanks for pointing that one out O8h7w! Alas there’s not much I can do about that typo, it had been drawn into the page itself. I’d have to redraw the whole panel to correct it 🙁
Do you think I could get away with it if I claim that the typo was intentional, so that I don’t get sued by the record company? 😉
