Whoa…Spring-Flower returns just was we head into a cliff-hanger ending.
What the hell happened to bring a heavily-armed GREG Initiative back to life and right into their city? Will Karen or Sam get away, or will they be condemned to live as reprogrammed “Flower Girls”?
The answers to all this and more in the next chapter: “Reverse and Rewind – Part 2”
Back Office will now take a summer break while I work on this year’s Coffee Party chapter. Also while I recharge a little 🙂
Happily, this year has seen the comic buffer in it’s best condition since I started web-cartooning. Both Bata Neart and Back Office maintained a 5-page buffer throughout this year, and in some cases I managed a nearly 10-page buffer (a personal record).
I don’t have a solid launch date yet for the next chapter, but I would like to aim for the second half of September to allow me to finish Coffee Party work and build a good buffer again. Then we’ll run the next chapter right into the new year 🙂 I will announce the launch date here when I know for sure.
Until then, I hope everyone has a great summer!
I hope you have a great summer as well, with at least a little more rain than we have a couple hundred kilometers to the east. The drought makes nature look worn and tired, in some cases dead – not a fun sight.
See you when you’re back!
@O8h7w: Thank you!
It has been a very dry summer over here in Oslo too (I guess Sweden is in the same boat weather-wise). Little to no rain at all, with very frequent hose-bans. It actually got so bad one week that they had to shut down the soda & beer factories because there just wasn’t enough drinking water(!)
I really hope for some proper
We’re very much in the same boat. I’m not sure how we’re doing on water, I think our supplies are in many cases quite strong and at least I haven’t heard of shutting down any factories. I don’t see people hosing their gardens a lot, rather a little, maybe there is a recommendation or we still have some common sense after all.
We do have some problems with fire. I have personally found a fire that was smoldering along at least 30 cm underground, probably far deeper. I guess it can go as deep as the ground is dried out (as long as there’s roots to burn) – and that can be metres! Trains are igniting wildfires, the Italian waterbombing planes have been called in and are very busy. Overall a bothersome situation.
