No, not at all. Mike still has feelings for Karen, even though he no longer trusts or believes her, while Emily is being terribly forward for no reason that Mike can see.
Mike doesn’t seem to think of himself as a “catch”, but Karen chose him (and then betrayed him), and now Emily seems to be choosing him. He’s got to be thinking “Why me?” and “What will happen this time?”.
Of such things are hermits made.
I suppose I’ve been watching too many harem-anime in my past that has led to this, but it’s true, he can’t handle this. Just wait until next week, it’ll get even trickier :O
