Tsk, tsk, that’s completely unfair, bringing up pesky little things like labor laws! What was the government thinking, giving workers actual rights? What a terrible way to ruin a perfectly good Evil Plot.
@Farren: I kind of imagine Evil Recruiter Guy regularly demoting his wife to Customer Service simply because he’s now addicted to doing it to people (regardless of who they are). She’s become so used to it happening that getting promoted back into her original role only takes an hour or so, often devising a suitable revenge in the process.
I haven’t really fleshed out these 2 characters too well, but I feel that there’s interesting (funny) story behind all of this 😀
@Kessy: I know right? Silly Government…trying to govern?! That was never part of the deal! 😀 Next you’re going probably say that Job4You has to pay taxes or something crazy like that. 😛
Somehow I get the feeling this is not at all trouble in paradise between those two, it’s more akin to a game they play. Either way, a really funny resolution to a story full of wonderfully silly humour 😀
Ooooh! Right at the knees! Mrs. Evil Recruiter Guy puts hubby in his place. ^^
I think Mr. Evil Recruiter Guy just likes seeing Karen naked. Not that you can blame him, but I don’t think his wife approved.
I love the way she said she got promoted “again”. I’m guessing this is an ongoing battle between them: who gets to be on top. 😛
By the way, Rawr should there be an ellipses in her speech bubble? “I got promoted…again.”
