And so we begin 2013 with a continuation of the ‘Ghost’ scene!
I’m hoping to get Chapter 3 wrapped up before Easter, where (as promised on the last Video RAWRlog) I will begin to redraw Chapters 4 and 5. Those 2 chapters were in less of a need for a re-draw than Chapters 1-3, but since I’ve been practicing a lot, the new Chapter 3 looks a lot better than the current Chapter 4 (which was mostly drawn in 2008).
It will be interesting to re-visit some of these pages, and hope the results will make for a fun read 😀
If I’ve got this right, Aoife sees only little balls of light, but Ashling sees (dead) people? Or is there something else here I’m missing?
No, that was my take on it as well, Red. Ashling seems to be more in touch with the “Spiritual Realm” than Aoife is at this time. Likely because Ashling’s been there and back.

Thanks to what has happened to her so far, she has the ability to make out the appearance of spirits. Aoife can only see the ‘orbs’ that ghosts apparently generate.
I got the idea for the orbs from the many ghost-hunter shows, who tend to cheat and claim that dust floating infront of the lens is in-fact a ghost in ‘orb’ form. I always thought that was cheeky way of ‘proving’ the existence of ghosts. Nonetheless, I thought it made for a nice way to illustrate how Aoife saw the forest ghosts.
