Hmmmm, so the Bata Neart is making its opinion known again by going, “ssssss….” And it doesn’t like guys. Aha! I have a theory! It’s really a cat. I’ve known a few cats who really don’t like guys – probably because they knew human males who were less than nice to them.
What do you mean Aoife needs to learn to concentrate? She’s clearly concentrating just fine on Ashling’s jeans. And it’s not like Aoife’s easily distrac… oooo, shiny!

I might suggest that Ashling’s jeans in themselves may be distracting for Aoife…but saying that would be a little too ‘on the nose’ for my liking ;D
The Bata Neart is a cat? Hmm…it’s not, but spiritually specking I don’t think you are all that far away. The Bata Neart has a personality of sorts, and I’d guess that it would have more in common with a cat than anything else.
Cell phone dying?
That has become such a common plot device that I now carry around one of those rechargeable battery packs.
Hmmm… Maybe I’ll use that in one of my stories. The cell phone is dying but, fortunately, our hero pulls out his handy-dandy portable recharger. Or maybe a solar charger.
@Ray: I was a little reluctant to use this ‘battery dying’ trick at first, but lately most of the smartphones I have been using over the past few years have had horrible battery life. I *might* get a full day or two out of a charge, and that is assuming that I haven’t been gaming, browsing the internet or even been cheeky enough to make phone calls on it. It’s not like my beloved Nokia which could last the guts of a week on a single charge 😀
I really should to carry one of those charger packs myself 😀
