She may be crazy, but does seem to want to be nice to Karen.
What will Karen choose? Will she refuse, resulting in her being knocked out and taken prisoner again. I will she accept, and willingly go to live the high-life with this crazy girl, and rebuild the GREG Initiative?

Karen could go either way? Umm, Laura basically just proposed to her. Putting aside the whole kidnapping people to be mind controlled slaves thing, considering Karen’s reaction on page 107 to finding out Laura was interested in her at all…
@Kessy: I’ve seen weirder things happen, and that was a very powerful offer, but Karen has evinced a real distaste for taking away people’s free will–even if she could keep her own. Add the facts that she likes Mike, and isn’t attracted to Laura, and I’m pretty sure she’ll refuse. 🙂
Ahh, you all know her far too well. Makes it hard for me to surprise you, but it does make it feel like you care about the character; which is good 🙂
@Delta: You’re certainly right that people have gone along with far stranger proposals for the chance to gain some power, money, etc. But Karen really doesn’t strike me as having that sort of ambition.
