Oh yes, since I kind of like putting in ‘mood videos / music’ here’s a random song/cartoon that has been stuck in my head for a week now. Albert loves it when I sing this song, so it’s going to be in my head even longer.
I suppose if there’s a theme attached to this…I came back…I guess I couldn’t stay awaaaaaaay! 😀

It’s true, you are supposed to think that Laura has specifically built up her corps of ‘Flower Girls’ as her own personal harem. Part of that being that she believes that she can re-program people to love her (like she’s planning for Karen in particular).
I think this part of Laura’s MO is inspired by Colonel Gaddafi’s all-female bodyguard detachment. This was one of the more bizarre quirks of the late dictator, who appeared to staff his personal security with only women. However this was probably mostly superficial (with his actual security provided by his army), and it would come as no surprise that his bodyguards, while probably capable soldiers, were mostly there for his ‘enjoyment’.
I try to give Laura a little more credit here, by giving her more practical motivations on which women she chooses to ‘recruit’. Sam’s dance-troop for example was made up of healthy athletic women, who’s strength & speed would prove useful in her forces. Her choice of Karen is based on her track record against Q-Matic, the amount of effort it took to capture her, and finally the fact that Laura has a crush on her 🙂
But at the end of the day, Laura is a morally corrupt maniac who no doubt collects & brain-washes these girls for her own pleasure.
