Following on from the title page, I’m hoping that Page 4 gives you better sense of what Ashling has been doing in the previous page. As mentioned before, this is my re-write of Sharon’s punishment for the girls and it also serves as a little bit of fore-shadowing of an upcoming scene in this chapter.
In this page, I’ve been experimenting a little with page layout, but also doing a little practice on drawing Sharon herself. I’ve always drawn her as ‘evil’ as a way to depict her toughness. In this page I’m trying to tone that down a bit, trying to draw her as ‘tough’ but with an underlying layer of goodness (because she isn’t really evil). Sharon will feature often amongst the staff of Colaiste Muire, so I’d like to try and get her right 😀
