The girls make up after Aoife’s rather violent reaction to Ashling’s jump.
I guess hear I’m trying to build a bit of tender moment between the two of them. Aoife’s reaction was supposed to be borne out of her love for Ashling and her fear of losing her. I hope this came across ok.
Don’t make promises you can’t keep, Ashling. π
I think you got the message across just fine, Rawr. Works for me at any rate.
Hmmm, RAMPANT SPECULATION, GO!: I wonder if “Petal’s” body was never found and laid to rest, so between that and the murder itself is why she is restless now.
Aaaw, how sweet. Hope it stays sweet, though often these kind of things get morphed by bad fandoms into full-on “yuri” shipping. Which I shall steadfastly oppose.
Somehow don’t think that Ashling is going to drop the matter though.
@ Azrael: I have similar thoughts on that point.
Hey Azrael and Red: You are both very good at predicting what I’m about to do π As chance would have it, I drew a page covering this last week! It’ll be up in 2 Fridays from now.
@Red: In general I’m hoping to keep everything on the right side of tasteful when it comes to character relations. For scenes like this, I do hope to keep things sweet. Ashling and Aoife’s friendship has a bit of back story and drama to it that I’ll reveal in later chapters and story arcs. They remain the best of friends throughout it all, and I’m hoping that their friendship will be one of those positive things that readers will relate to and like.
