Following on from last week, we get continue this corridor scene with the girls.
Like several redrawn pages in the New Addition of Bata Neart, these two pages actually formed one page in the Original Bata Neart. Now, for the first time in the webcomic, I’m actually going to show you the Original page:
This is actually the page I mentioned last time, and was Aoife’s very first appearance in her current design. Pretty crudely draw huh? Not to worry, I’ve draw worse 😀
If you can make out the text, you’ll also see my lame attempt not to redraw the previous chapters. However, we are edging ever closer to the point where I stopped making new material, and as soon as we do we’re into completely unchartered waters. I’ll be exciting 😀
Lol, naked girl dreams, who doesn’t have those… 😛
I like Aoife’s type of character, they’re always fun.
I see the comic has come quite a way from its previous incarnation. The dialogue is better now, too.
Been trying to read Ashling’s shirt in the dream panel – what does it say?
Glad you enjoy Aoife. By far she is my favorite creation, and certainly the most fun to write for (sorry Ashling, Karen, Magnu and all of the Back Office crew, it’s true she is my favorite).
Thank you also for your kinds words. I have been trying to improve the dialogue where I can, or at least keep it all consistent with the characters. I hope I can keep it up!
On Ashling’s T-Shirt is throw-back from the Original Page 1. It reads ‘Mise Me Fein’: which in Irish means ‘Me Myself’, and is something you might hear often in the Irish language. It was going to be but one of several Irish T-Shirts Ashling would possess. However, I think this quirk my be saved for Aoife, who I feel is more likely to wear such T-Shirts.
