Can you do magic, Ashling? Well, let’s see. A dream led you to find a girl frozen in a giant block of crystal who’s been asleep for millennia, at which point your necklace started glowing and freed the girl. And now said necklace has turne3d into a staff. Nope, of course you can’t do magic – these are all perfectly ordinary, mundane happenings. π
This is more like it. Sorry for the horrible quality; it’s the only video I found that had only her opening.
Though I still think our little bony friend looks more like Skeletor than Hordak. It’s kind of funny that She-Ra is the protector of the Crystal Palace and we find Aine in a crytal rock.
@Azreal: Ahh Masters of the Universe…I think Ashling really needs a similar catchphrase. Alas, the only one I can think of is ‘Dammit Aoife stop sneaking up on me!!’ …which doesn’t really work as a battle cry π
@Kessy: It all depends where in Ireland she is from. If she is from Dublin this would be weird, but in Wicklow this kind of crap would be considered an interesting Thursday afternoon (/kidding)
@Farren: Oooo…I promise that the similarities are co-incidental, but I would prefer that he’s more like Skeletor than Hordak. Honestly, Hordak had the whole friggin’ Horde available and he still coundn’t win. At least old Skeletor won in the war in the live-action movie (and occasionally in the 90’s sequel series).
I’ve always been a bit of a fan of his. That’s why I’ve hunted down these classic put downs π
@Farren: Agreed, same here. Several of those had me in stitches π I once showed Anna an episode after she wanted to know where the ‘By the Power of Greyskull’ saying came from. She compared the show to being stoned π
“By the Power of Grayskull!” …Whoops. Wrong show. π
By the way, Ashling, he just called you a crone. Get ‘im. π

Go with what you know first. Namely: THINE! Fire may not be the best defense against bones, but it will probably work better than punching them.
@Azrael: Yeah, wrong show.

@Shirou: That spell *did* work agains the Caudron Born soldiers back in Chapter 1, but ‘Nakano’ Ashling won’t know this…not yet anyway.

@Farren: Yes, I’d rather forgotten about She-Ra.
Oh man, watching all of those Skeletor insults makes me want to watch He-Man again.
