Language problems abound, while they figure that an Ancient Irish magical item probably needs to be spoken to in…well…Irish in order to work π
Scene for scene, this is a total remake of the original page, with a couple of critical changes. The artwork has been updated as usual, but the big change here is the car. Back in the original draft, I used generic ‘car-shapes’ whenever a car needed drawing. Now in the re-draw I have resolved to use real-world examples whenever I need a car in this comic.
So, the car on the cliff is a Toyota Yaris! (Or depending on where you are, Toyota Vitz, Toyota Echo, or ‘Xiali Vizi’ if you are in China) I choose the Yaris, because that is what I’m driving! I kind of like Toyota cars, so you’ll probably see them floating around in the comic. Earlier you may have even noticed a Toyota Prius parked at Ashling’s house.
Next week…what happens with you point a magical staff at a car and yell ‘TINE!’
Well, I’m sure they didn’t really want that car anyway. Hope their insurance is paid up. π
I think most policies cover fire and theft, so i’m think they’ll be ok π
They might cover fire and theft, but what about destruction due to ancient magical artifact? Probably not. I’d hate to see their insurance premium after that. :>}
@Farren: He’s a male driver under 30. In Ireland that’s excuse enough for the insurance companies to financially abuse you. So no change there :/
