Bata Neart

Did I ever mention before how sorry I feel when I can’t update regularly? I might have…can’t remember 😛

Uggg….the TL:DR version is that things in my cartooning life have been pretty damn amazing lately. The publisher I work with her in Norway are just wonderful, the group I’m doing the anthology manga magazine with are just the best bunch you can imagine. Last Day is reviewing better than I expected, and there seems to be some love of it out there. I’ve been on a panel in a convention, and in a couple of weeks I might be doing a live demonstration of how I draw at a launch even. It’s truly the promised land for a hobby cartoonist like myself. The down side to this all is that my webcomics have, noticibly, taken a back seat.

I’m going to do another video about this, but the way I’m going to work in future will need me to keep working on Last Day pages year-round, but the idea of dropping my webcomics has never sat well with me. So I have worked on reorganising my week so that at least one day goes to Bata Neart. The consequence of this is that the comic won’t come out every single week, and at best I might be able to produce one chapter a year.

In the meantime, I can at least give you the last couple of pages of this Bata Neart chapter. For the next couple of Fridays expect a new Bata Neart page, until the chapter end.

If you’ve stuck with me so far, I can’t thank you enough. Your enjoyment of the comics makes it all that more fun and I’m sorry I can’t do it more often at the moment.
