Hello and welcome back for a new chapter of Bata Neart!
I’m sorry about these hiatus, I hate putting everything on hold and really wished I had the time to keep Bata Neart and Back Office running while I’m drawing for Coffee Party. Alas the days only have a handful of hours and it’s also good to have a break from the weekly comics, so that I can come back fresh for these new chapters. But thank you all for incredible patience in baring with me doing this time and again.
Chapter 11 – Oiche is a bit special. It is the first of possibly many chapters that has come about due to reader feedback and interaction. Chapter 11’s original plan was scrapped and replaced with this higher pace story and some other story elements brought forward. It was through feedback in the comments that made me feel this way, so don’t be afraid to add your voice! You might actually steer some of the story with your ideas.
Despite this, the overall main plot of Bata Neart is more or less the same as always, but more of it may get revealed faster in coming chapters.
As for the page here…well it looks like Garda Racheal might be getting her answer soon….
So how sure are we that Aine is actually unconscious and not doing that on purpose?
Although, now that I think about it, it does seem like Ashling has a bit of a habit of taking pratfalls, doesn’t it?
@Kessy: Áine is still unconscious, you’ll see clearer in the next page. This is mosty Ashling or Fiona (or both) being clumsy at the worst possible time ;D
But yea…Ashling has a bit of pratfall history…although I think these falls are mostly due to Aoife-ish interference.
Remember your Political Science classes, Aoife. Rule Number One: Deny! Deny! Deny! If that doesn’t work then go for Rule Number Two: Deflection. If that fails, well, there’s always the Brave Sir Robin Gambit. 😛
Welcome back, Rawr. 🙂
Dun dun dun ta ta da! It’s Captain Pedantry to the rescue!
Oíche: pronounced something like ‘E-ha’ and translates to “night”.
@Azrael: I think it’s, “Admit what you can’t deny and deny what you can’t admit.”
@Rawr: Well, at least this once we have absolute proof that Aoife is actually completely innocent. I wonder if Garda Rachael’s brain will need to reboot once she realizes that?
