@Itmauve: Well, here: http://rawrtacular.com/bataneart/comic/batac09p17/ and here: http://rawrtacular.com/bataneart/comic/batac09p18/ it says these Fomorian feed on youth and energy. So yes, I’d say human / animal energy is probably all it can eat. Alternatively, depending on species and various other factors a tree that size is at least 30 years old, probably older so it might not register as “young” to the Fomorian’s senses. /WAG
@Armiture: Don’t underestimate Aoife, if it makes enough purring noises she might want to keep it ;D
@Itmauve: Pretty much as yourself and Azreal guessed, the Formorians are mostly into feeding on humans. I guess I’m showing them as a sort of super-natural predator of the Human Race.
PS. Sorry your post was initially blocked Azreal. The links you posted triggered some kind of spam protection that needed me to manually approve before it would appear. Whenever this happens, I try to approve the post ASAP (unless I’m asleep at the time).
I find it interesting that the Fomorian followed but didn’t attack Aoife. Maybe it senses that she’s just too genki for it to handle?
@Kessy: Perhaps it was using her as a “stalking horse” to get close to Ashling and Aine.
Oh is cool everybody. If this thing where to feed on Aoife I bet it would just explode from to much energy and she would probably just need a short nap! lol
@Howard: That, or it OD’s on Aoife and then morphs into a super-powered copy of her that starts to bounce around chasing Ashling.
(That isn’t what will happen, but it would be fun as hell….maybe in a later chapter 😀 )
@Rawr: Unless I’m much mistaken, Ashling just shot you a bone chilling Glare of Death.

Yanno, Rawr, I think that last glare was hiding a smile. I think we all know what Ashling would do if given the chance to take the Hulu-Aoife drive back in time and prevent you from inventing Aoife in the first place.
