Well hello there! We haven’t seen her for a while. What has our ghost friend has to say while Aoife poorly lies to Sharon? We find out next week.

Haven’t we been down this road before? O.o
Welcome back, Claire.
Stealthy thoughts, Γine!
@ Azrael: isn’t this the point where you should meow and jump up on Aoife’s shoulders to help her out? ^_^
Everyone remember to vote for Bata Neart! http://topwebcomics.com/vote/14911/default.aspx
@Delta: Re-cycled plot elements?!! *Ahem!* I mean…erm….no..I don’t recognise this road at all….(Whistles and slowly backs away) π
@Azrael: Yay, people still remember her name π I re-introduced her to sort of help bridge the pre-Nakano Bata Neart stories with the later stuff I’ve made since I started following Nao’s teachings.
Chapter 3 (when Ashling returns from the hospital and Claire’s ghost appears) is what I like to think as Bata Neart’s first “proper” story after I established everything π I felt it made sense to bring Claire back at this time.
@Kessy: Azreal never turned up for rehearsals (*looks accusingly towards Azrael*), so we have to sort of wing it. Not to worry though…a very familiar cat is on the cards soon π
LOL Silly Rawr, you actually expect a cat to show up for practice? A cat’s just going to look over their shoulder at you with that “Why have you disturbed me, peasant?” look that only cats can do and then go back to sleep.
Although I am curious to see what Aine’s professional opinion of Ashling’s ghost issues is. She probably knows more about the subject than almost anyone else alive today. And suddenly I have another 80’s movie theme running through my head… If there’s something strange and it don’t look good, who you gonna call? Aine!!

Looking for a cat was the best you could come up with in a pinch? Man. No offense, but you’re off alibi detail.
@melaredblu: I think she’s been relying on “cute” to get her out of scrapes, and that technique doesn’t cut much ice with Sharon…..
@Delta: I dunno, I sort of get the impression that Sharon actually has a bit of a soft spot for Aoife. http://rawrtacular.com/bataneart/comic/batac08p06/
And who knows? Maybe Sharon appreciates Aoife’s brand of cute. She just shows it in her own non giving up school person way.
@Kessy: Ooh! Sweet reference to an absolutely classic scene. ^^
I guess you have a point; just about everyone seems to have a soft spot for Aoife. π It’s probably a good thing I’m not in the comic. She could literally get away with murder while I beamed at her with an avuncular expression. XD
Someone called my name? I thought not. *yawns, stretches, curls back up in sunspot
