The drum line from the Terminator theme playing in my head just got a lot louder. Duh-duh-duh dun da dun. DUH-DUH-DUH DUN DA DUN! I’m half expecting Sharon to walk through a wall of flame or something.
I’m guessing that Sharon prolly knows exactly which window is Aoife’s…
@Delta: I think that’s fear, not anger. Aine’s having an “Oh crap! I hope she didn’t see me. She proably did. Did she see me? Now what do I do? Oh crap. Oh CRAP. OH CRAP!!” moment. She has a sweat tear on her face and one coming off either side of her head.
I suppose it’s because it’s too synth and not enough “oomph”. It’s actually kind of a sad piece. Gods, I can actually picture Arnold Schwarzenegger’s voice coming out of Sharon on this page.
@Delta: รine looks angry at Sharon?? Aww man….did I not make Sharon look different enough? (I’m guessing you mistook Sharon on the bottom left as รine) I was afraid of this, that’s why I’ve been redesigning her. They both look very similar, both are blonde, short-haired and tall. I’ve been re-tooling Sharon’s hair-style and facial features, but she is still very similar. I’m sorry about the confusion…
Sharon (Arnie): Ashling Connolly, if you want to live you must come with me nouw.
Ashling: Erm…no I don’t wanna…
Sharon (Arnie): No Ashling Connolly, there is no time. The Aoife2000 vill not stop until it has you.
Aoife2000: Yay! My arms are knives!!
Sharon (Arnie): Get to the choppa!!
I’m actually a fan of the original theme. Sure, T2’s theme has a lot more oomph, but the T1 theme is far more haunting and makes you imagine the uncertain war-filled future (at least until the crappy sequels attempted to show us that future….poorly)
@Farren: Aine is trained in magic – her senses are probably telling her that she’s just awakened an implacable force of nature…
Ummm, they both sound kind of the same to me? I actually play the original theme when I’m in the mood for movie music just because that’s what Youtube spits out when I search for “Terminator theme.” I dunno – I’m tone deaf so most music tends to sound kind of the same to me.
@Rawr: A random thought – maybe you could give Sharon a ponytail? She seems like the sort of person who’d tie up her hair to keep it out of her way. And the second panel actually makes it look a little like she has one.
@Rawr: Nope, I can tell them apart just fine. What confused me was that I thought the hair on Aine’s forehead was frowny eyebrows. I was reading the page (and commenting) before rushing off to work, And I didn’t realize my mistake. Your drawing skills are awesome. ๐
@Delta: Ahh, my bad…I really should be careful with that ๐
Thank you for the kind words about my drawing skills. They are not at all awesome (espeically according to my jerk ‘inner-critic’ who keeps hanging around) but it is wonderful to hear when someone does say it ๐

There will be…a RECKONING!
Aine looks as angry at Sharon as she did when she saw the harp on Aoife’s bandeau. What trigger did this situation trip for her?

@Kessy: Is this what you’re looking for?
No one really ever plays the original theme.

@Kessy: Whenever I imaging Sharon hunting down someone, I do also hear that theme but more often I imagine this classic scene:
@Azreal: Indeed there will be…I can even hear it now…

I’m sure it’s just a death glare of friendship…right?
@melaredblu: By far the best kind of Death Glare! Should be fine……. (sh-shhould be fine….not worried…..)
