@Azreal: I had originally planned to have Rebekka chew out Ashling, but when I finally got around to setting the dialogue, I realised that there was something much worse than being yelled at. Nothing really beats being put into the emotional dog-house, and so Ashling gets this horrible silence.
She’ll be wishing that this school week never ends π
@Delta: I had wanted to put that “I was a little tied up last night” line in there for years (ever since I rebooted the comic). I’m glad that I finally got to put it in, and that you enjoyed it π
Also, thank you for your kind words about the car. I was using a light-box technique that I learned off Nao. I’m trying to practice it whenever a scene calls for it π You’ll start to see more of this in Back Office too.
@Kessy: Funny thing is, if Rebekka wasn’t so angry with Ashling right now, she would probably say something like that. Rebekka has known Aoife for years at this point in time and I think it would be a stretch for her not to notice how much of a crush the little brunette has for her daughter. I’d also feel that she has the kind of wit that would poke fun at this situation whenever she gets the chance π
ROFLMAO! And I was just being a smart alec. About the only way anyone could possibly miss Aoife’s crush on Ashling would be if they were purposefully not noticing it. But I didn’t know if Rebekka would tease Ashling about it or not. I certainly would, but that’s me. LOL
@Rawr: Ha, I was going to ask if the car-drawing was something you’d learned from the manga training, but I was afraid you’d think I was just being snarky. Oh me of little faith. π
@Kessy: Rebekka would certainly make fun of Ashling in this way. Although I haven’t fleshed her out a lot yet, I feel that she’s got a cheeky sense of humor.
@Delta: I find your lack of faith disturbing π
Nah, don’t worry I wouldn’t of thought you very being snarky to ask that π
Truth is, I love when people ask about Nao’s course. I try to promote it whenever I can.
Ouch. I don’t know about Ashling, but I’d rather just have her shout at me. At least that way it’d be over with.
Oh yes, the Mom cold shoulder is the worst. Not quite the Doom I had envisioned, but still pretty harsh.
Ashling needs to introduce her new friend to Mom.
LOL “I was a little tied up last night.” You’re killing me!
Hehehe, if Mom were in a better mood…
“I was a little tied up last night…”
“Tied up? I didn’t think Aoife was into that sort of thing.”
“Mom!!”
Hey, @Rawr: I think that’s the best car you’ve drawn yet. ^^

….which of course would piss Ashling off…..
