Ah Sister Helena…always good for a larf…
…also…the worst ever Security Guard! Good thing that her day-job is being a Nun. (She’s also on the teaching staff, but I haven’t settled on a subject for her yet).
So, the girls are back at the school with Γine still in tow…but what next? Tune in next week to find out π
(Looks puzzled) Clap clap? That’s not the sound effect I’d expect for people sneaking…
Why do I get the impression that sister Helena is Aoife’s favorite teacher?
Initial infiltration: SUCCESSFUL!
Your new challenge: Make it past the Coach. π
That Aoife face. π
@Kessy: I choose ‘Clap-Clap’ as the sound effect here, because they are not being very good at sneaking there (thus alerting Helena). I felt that ‘Clap’ fit in with the echo-y smack of rubber against concrete (particularly at night when little else is stirring).
Aoife and the other girls tend to like Sister Helena, mostly due to her easy-going & ditzy air-head nature. Aoife however does have another teacher who is her favorite. We’ll learn about her in future stores π
@Azreal: Glad you liked the Aoife-face. Drawing her is usually my favorite part of a page π
“…I must be hearing things …… again”. It’s little touches like that which elevate a page to greatness. ^^
LOL! Oh my, Aoife has a crush on a teacher, huh? Maybe she’s just trying to make Ashling jealous. Somehow I don’t think that’d work.
And that cardboard box was totally always there, too. Never moved.
@Delta: You are far too kind π Adding the ‘…again’ line was a last minute idea, but I am glad it worked out π
@Kessy: Hmm…although it wouldn’t be beyond Aoife to develop a crush on a teacher, that’s not really the case here. As for making Ashling jealous…well you know that won’t work, not on Ashling anyway π
Feel free to ask Aoife herself. The #AskAoife questions are always accepted now π
@melaredblu: That’s right! And also, those very life-like statues over there didn’t just move. Nor are the eyes in that painting somehow following you! π (I’m getting a weird Scooby Doo vibe right now π )
@melaredblu: I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who thought of Megal Gear Solid when I saw the question marks above Sister Helena’s head.
I think Aoife is enjoying this way too much. But then, who can blame her?
@Rawr: Naw, no cheesy ’70s chase music. And not a dog in sight. π
@Azrael: Awww, but I brought the Scooby snacks! (Starts singing way off key) Scooby Dooby Doo, where are you? We’ve got some work to do now….
@Farren: Metal Gear Aoife π
@Azreal & Kessy: Ghosts floating about, meddling kids looking aroung for clues…hell…I even have a Velma (Fiona)! I’m not far off from having the Scooby Doo formula, I’m just missing the Dog and the Stoner. I could probably transfer Magnu from Back Office over to fill both roles in a cameo π
“Ruh roh, Ragnu.”
“Magnu! Magnu magnu, magnu!”
Magnu=Shaggy
Fiona=Velma
Aoife=
Ashling=Fred
Aine=Daphne
Coach Sharon=The Villain behind the ghost/monster mask.
But where do we get Scooby from?
But we already have a talking kitty. Want a Scooby snack, Azrael? π
I was gonna say something about Fred and Daphne vis a vis Aoife and Ashling, but I think I’ll go yank on some monster’s faces instead on the theory that they’re just Coach wearing a mask.
@Farren: π
The Metal Gear reference regarding hiding in a box also reminded me of the various ways Shaggy & Scooby (or indeed any Hanna Barbara character) would hide. Thus we’re now talking about that π
I like your line-up of characters. Maybe Aoife could be Scooby, all she needs to do is don a pair of Great Dane ears on a hairband and we’re good. ‘Aoife-Aoife Dooooo!’ Don’t think that would work though…she’s not as much a coward π
@Kessy:
(Pulls off mask)
The Gang: [Gasps] “Old Man Ms. Conners!”
Sharon: I would have gotten away with it too.
Aoife: Because of us ‘meddling kids’?
Sharon: No…because I kept chasing you lot to the tune of 70’s music instead of focusing in my evil plan.
Ashling: Will you be cool and just sit here until some police just magically appear to arrest you?
Sharon: Yea, alright.
Ashling: Thanks.
….and that is why Cartoon Network will probably never hire me π
Hmmm, well, Fred was always self confident, took charge in any situation, and always had the group split up so he could go off with the cutest girl by himself. That sounds like Aoife to me. ^_^
@Kessy: Hmm…probably right there with Aoife. Would also make sense in that Fred would hit on Daphne, who is likely Ashling’s counterpart in this bizarre ‘Scooby Neart’ idea π
