Well, as many of you had accurately predicted, Aoife has now a bit of a clothing dilemma. Despite her nonchalant attitude toward being so lightly dressed, she now realises that outer clothing can also have a function.
How do you solve this without leaving Áine ‘short’ of some coverage? Kinda reminds me of that Chicken, Wolf and Corn puzzle…be it this time with public nudity as the thing at stake.
Áine seems concerned however…maybe she has a solution?

Or then again, there’s always the Bata Neart – the girls’ own personal deus ex machina. That must come in handy at times, I think I’ll see about getting me one of those…

I suppose you *could* get a Bata of your own. However, would you really want one considering what Ashling had to go though to get hers? Is a little painful…and just a tad….extremely….life-threatening…
Well, I was thinking more of my own personal deus ex machina, rather than a Bata per se. Although come to think of it, the Bata hasn’t actually been used in a deus ex machina fashion yet.
As for Aoife, being a saint is in no way incompatible with having a healthy libido. I believe there are several historical examples. 😉
Incidentally, speaking of Ashling acquiring the Bata, the reason I made a Vorlon reference a little while ago is because Chapter 2 has some very strong parallels to some events in Babylon 5 at the end of season 3 and the beginning of season 4. Including jumping into a chasm at the urging of a voice in your head, being saved by the friendly wizard who happens to live at the bottom, and miraculously recovering from a fall that you have no business surviving.
Apparently even free spirit exhibitionists have their limits. 🙂

I’ve never been too much into Babylon 5, although I did enjoy a couple of TV-Movies made from the show. I never really guessed that such a similar story-line was in that show. Hopefully the B5 folk won’t start trying to sue me 😀

I don’t think you have to worry about getting sued, Rawr. Like they say, there’s nothing new under the sun – anytime anybody writes anything, they’re guaranteed to be ripping off someone, even if they don’t realize it. 😉 Besides, the two stories really aren’t the same – they are just using a lot of the same themes and motifs.
B5 is one of my favorites, but the problem with it is that you really have to watch it straight through, in order. It’s not so much a TV series as a novel written in video. Well, five seasons plus some movies, so probably a series of novels.
It’s so sad. If anyone could defy the laws of physics, it would be Aoife. But even she isn’t immune to the laws of thermodynamics. Curse you Lord Kelvin!

Oooo…FYI. I have now Scheduled a ‘Baby Break’ into Bata Neart’s update flow. Basically, there are 4 more Fridays of new Bata Neart pages, followed by 4 weeks off to take care of things and get into a new rhythm, and then a new update.
The reason I’m doing this is to reassure everyone that comic is going to still be alive and kicking later 😀 (I am hopeful that this plan will work!)
No plan of action survives contact with a baby. If (When) something changes, just drop us a note and let us know. 🙂
